The studio was retained by Mr. John Zawisny for consultation on a fire that had almost destroyed a Moorish mansion he had recently bought. The next two years were spent planning, designing , fabricating and installing every window in the great building. We were the first contractors who urged the client to preserve rather than destroy the damaged interiors. The studio then provided excellent associates who restored the plaster, wood and painted surfaces. Sensing a greater history, we were also involved with creating a research project documenting a history of the building for the Zawisnys
